This project covered the main natural disasters facing the Philippines, namely, flood, earthquake and volcano disasters.

SRDP devoted a GIS specialist who visited various government agencies and private companies, provided assessment of currently existing data relevant to disaster management in the Philippines and gave recommendations on how to improve them. The GIS specialist also performed spatial analysis and prepared various thematic maps pertaining to flood, earthquake and volcano disasters.
